It is best to wear comfortable, casual clothing that doesn't restrict your movement.
What type of shoes do I need?
Trainers and thick rubber soled shoes are not recommended as they grip the floor. Flip flops are not a good idea either. Comfy, low heeled shoes are ideal.
Do I need to bring a partner?
It is not essential to bring a partner as there are always other people who come on their own. During the classes we also rotate people so you will always have a partner every couple of minutes.
I've never done salsa before and I have two left feet can I still come to the classes?
Yes, no problem! We have absolute beginner’s classes at each venue which will guide you through the basic steps of salsa.
What is the age group of people who attend?
We teach all age groups, in most of our classes the age ranges from 18-80. The majority of our venues in the evening do not allow children due to licensing of their premises. However we run special classes for children and young people. (Please see class listings for details)
Do classes run through the summer and school holidays?
Our classes run all year round including the bank holidays. In December, classes close around the 3rd week and start again in the New Year.
